Today the babe and I had our first outing together. To the doctor for me. To retrieve the eldest from school. And then to the grocery store. We rocked my favorite sling. Made do with the new car seat that is nearly incompatible with my Element. Survived the biggest diaper blowout yet. Realized at check out that I didn’t have the card for groceries. I took everything in stride, which is a major departure for me. Made plans to pick up groceries tomorrow. Drove home. Read books to the oldest at bedtime and told him what a great help he was at the store. It was a good day.
