You may not like the Oscars, may not like the movies that get nominated, or be “above it all”. I don’t care. I finished something I set out to do for the first time in, perhaps, years. I can barely make it through a magazine article anymore or a film in one-sitting. It has been four to six years since I was able to see each Best Picture nominee, and that’s when there were only five!
So I feel really proud of myself right now. I am sitting here on Saturday night before the Oscars perusing tumblr and twitter not frantically trying to finish at least two movies. I WIN.
