This was the first visit to family in Oklahoma. No, we don’t live near cows in Kansas.
I was wearing O in my favorite sling. This boy never left my side.
Motherhood changed my life in the most amazing ways. Sometimes in wonderful ways. Others were painful. Even though I was never going to get married let alone have children, I wouldn’t change any of it. I am a better person because of my son. I want to be the best mom he could have. I love him fiercely and would die to protect him.
This mother’s day has been the best I’ve had in these last five years.
